Kate Broderick Faculty Award for Excellence in Promoting Educational Accessibility

Do you know an exceptional professor who meets the following requirements?

  • Provides differentiation in curriculum and instruction supportive of multiple ways of learning and learning styles.

  • Creates a classroom, as well as extra-curricular environments, designed in consideration of students with accessibility needs and their full participation and engagement.

  • Nurturing and welcoming to all students.

  • Demonstrates commitment to the concept that all people, regardless of the nature or degree of an individual's accommodation needs, have the right and obligation to become full and contributing members of their academic communities.

Please nominate an exceptional professor for the Kate Broderick Faculty Award for Excellence in Promoting Educational Accessibility.  Nominations must be submitted in writing (500 words or less) and include a detailed description of why you feel the professor is deserving of the award. 

Deadline for nominations is Thursday, March 20.
